Tuesday 10th January

Expecting the day to warm up quickly to a forecast 32 C, I came in early to sand yesterday’s first coat of cream paint. A light sand with old 240 grit orbital sander paper dulled the surface to give traction for the second coat. Peter K then joined me having cycled in and was already sweating when he started to paint creating a minor problem. The work went quickly as we listened to an Energy Insiders podcast and we were partially supervised by Harry. Peter then glued up the second part of the stern footrest while I cleaned up the brushes. We then called it a day and sat and had a chat over a cup of tea before shutting up the shed.

Interior cream coats completed.

Back on Thursday to do some work on the rowlock holes.

Cheers Dave
